High School Finals - Ponoka

Attention: The adult and
student directors for pole bending, goat tying, and barrel
racing for the provincial finals must be at the Ponoka arena on
Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 7 PM SHARP to set and mark the
patterns for the rodeo.

Tickets for the Provincial Finals Banquet will be available for
sale by your district secretary. There is a limited number of
tickets available so if your wanting to attend the banquet and
awards presentations please contact your district secretary to
purchase tickets.

Friday, June 13, @ 7 pm the AHSRA is hosting the Queen Event
Modeling and Prepared Speeches at the Royal Canadian Legion in
Ponoka, Alberta. It will be a great opportunity to come
out and meet the reigning queen and princess as well as the 2008
queen contestants. There is no charge to attend and a light
refreshments will be served.

Canadian High School Rodeo Finals - Williams Lake,
BC
National Finals Jackets:
The AHSRA national team jackets will
be
available to only
the contestants who attend and will compete at
the 2008 Wrangler National Finals in Gallup or the National High
School Finals in Farmington. When filling out your paperwork after
provincial finals to attend either the Wrangler or high school
national finals make sure you fill out the form for the contestant
jacket. These are limited edition trophy jackets available to
contestants who will be competing at national finals.
Your order
form must be completed at the time of entries and returned with the
registration package to ensure you will receive your jacket.
The "qualifer" jackets have been discontinued, "Contestant"
jackets are only available to contestants who will be competing at a
national finals.
